Snorkel kits

When doing a snorkle kit when do you know when you have to many pipes to run before you run into a prob with the amount air/ fuel and have to rejet your carb, to compensate for the extra amount of air the atv will be taking in.

When snorkleing out your atv does the carbs need to be rejeted or are they fine with the new amount of air being sucked in?
